DON’T BE AFRAID OF ELECTRIC

It was on a Zoom interview that we met Doug Downing, the owner of Advanced Environmental Lawn Services in Langhorne, PA. He was quite convincing about the superiority of batteries over gas, but we had to see for ourselves.

This video focuses on his company’s reliance on battery blowers on jobs of all sizes. His truck is equipped with solar-charged batteries that power his all-electric blowers, mowers, and trimmers.

We caught up with him on a big municipal job in Levittown, Bucks County and we witnessed a Delaware Valley company that has successfully operated only with battery power for several years.
